this GARLIC BROTH from BON APPETIT is so uplifting! i hacked it by swapping the olive for SUNFLOWER OIL and added extra KAPHA reducing herbs. 

peel and crush ONE HEAD OF GARLIC in 2 tbsps of SUNFLOWER OIL 'til they're soft and brown. add 2 quarts of WATER and bring to a boil. cut ANOTHER HEAD OF GARLIC in half and throw it in along with a handful of any fresh herbs. ROSEMARY and SAGE are extra uplifting. reduce heat and simmer for half an hour or so...and enjoy!
