prune chutney
i changed up a MARTHA STEWART recipe for raisin chutney that was great to begin with but now it's even better for KAPHA / SPRING.
soften 1 large diced ONION in a couple tbsps of SUNFLOWER OIL until caramelized. add 1/3 cup of PRUNES, 1/4 tsp of powdered GINGER, 1/8 tsp of ground CLOVES, perhaps some lime zest and about half a cup of WATER and stir until the water evaporates.
this super versatile chutney is STIMULANT, DECONGESTANT, PROMOTES REGULARITY, CLEANSES and STRENGTHENS the body.
