coconut lime chia
this cooling protein pudding is a great way to start the day for PITTA / SUMMER or anyone who’s overheating.
whisk 1/2 a c of CHIA SEEDS with 2 c of COCONUT MILK, a couple tbsps of MAPLE SYRUP and the juice of half a LIME. refrigerate for at least 20 minutes or until the chia has absorbed the liquid.
the CHIA is great tri-doshic source of protein since it is not heating like eggs or meat. COCONUT is specifically indicated for high pitta, overheating and skin issues. the LIME is great for liver and heat and MAPLE helps with any burning sensation.
