savory lassi
its hard to put into words how totally REFRESHING this lassi is! no need to hack the recipe from VPK MAHARISHI but i’ve adjusted a couple things to my taste…
blend a c of PLAIN YOGURT, at least 1/2 c of water — maybe more depending on how thick the yogurt is, a handful of CILANTRO, 1 tsp CUMIN, and a little pinch of PINK SALT.
i love more CILANTRO because its so cooling and CUMIN is one of few spices PITTA can getaway in the summer heat. SALT is tricky since we avoid with PITTA. if you eat an unprocessed diet and you’re some place really hot and sweaty, you can afford to have some in moderation.
